Noel Brehony joined Menas Associates after a long career with the UK Foreign Office, and as a director of the Middle
East Affairs for Rolls Royce. Former president of the British Society of Middle
East Studies, chair of the Council for British Research in the Levant, advisory
board member at the London Middle East Institute (SOAS), and the council of the
British Egyptian Society, his specialist areas are Yemen and Egypt.
A consultant with years of experience in banking and advising on the Middle
East, Phillip Griffin focuses on emerging markets, trade and corporate finance.
He
earned the Citibank GAMS award in 1992.
Charles Gurdon joined Menas Associates as a researcher in 1980, and later
oversaw the restructuring of the company, its stable of publications and
consulting
portfolio. He has a PhD from SOAS, where he specialised in Africa and the
Middle
East.
Based at King's College London, Richard Schofield is a world authority on
boundary issues, with a particular focus on the Middle East. He has advised
governments and international law firms involved in boundary disputes before
arbitral
proceedings, and the International Court of Justice.
